I’ll be presenting a paper at a conference in a couple of weeks on the use of blogs as teaching tools in higher education - specifically in teaching industrial relations. In the unlikely event that anybody is interested, you can download the paper here.

    I read your article, and I think it is commendable that you choose to expose your students to how they may apply their learning in practice, since as you so rightly pointed out, it is very easy to “learn’ about an issue in the class room without understanding the underlying strong emotions certain actions arouse in the students’ audience.
